Too hot and humid for a deck party...it was inside in the A/C for us!
It's summertime in NJ and as freeing as it is to have no constraints with a school schedule for the kids, it can be isolating with everyone doing their own vacation thing.
Mamas (and Papa's...didn't mean to leave out Mr.H) are often stuck as chauffeurs to swim lessons, or camps. We were in need of a "Mama Bakes" get together with a little tweak. Nikki and Martha were not in the mood to bake or cook instead we were in the mood to experiment with grown-up (aka Alcoholic) ice pops!
So the troops were rallied to bring a bite or a sip to share with the promise
of grown-up pops for dessert! Mama was indenting to drink and share...
It was just what the doctor ordered!

We drank champagne (thank you, Silvana!) Lynchburg Lemonades
and Watermelon Mojitos. We nibbled on fabulous appetizers, click their

Without the need to bring enough items to swap, we brought
enough to share that night and ended up with a great mix of small bites.
